On Friday 18th January, 24 children from the School Choir will be taking part in the Young Voices at the MEN Arena. Â Mrs Hussain and the children have been practising a long list of songs from Disco Fever to Let It Be twice a week since September and now with the concert getting closer they have been working extremely hard and practicing everyday!
The children sound amazing and Mrs Hussain has promised to let the children sing in a school assembly next week so the whole school can hear how fabulous they are!
Mrs Hussain will be taking lots of pictures of the event and will be posting them on her Blog so keep checking the School Blog!

Have a fantastic time and we are looking forward to hearing  all about it!
We’ve seen some lovely flurries of snow over the weekend! Hopefully you have all had a chance to get out and make a snowball or two, perhaps not a snowman though as it does seem to be melting quite quickly.
On very rare occasions in the past, very adverse weather has meant we have had to close.
If this ever happened again, you would be notified by text message as early as possible on the day. Please always ensure you update us with new mobile telephone numbers if you change them! If you do not hear from us you should assume that school is open as normal.
We want to see every child dressed appropriately for the cold – scarves, hats, gloves, wellies (which they can change into a playtimes), warm coats. Wrap them up toasty & warm and write their name in everything!
