Mrs Kabir and the Lowerplace Parents Forum
Following on from our parent questionnaires, some parents have requested more information about Good To Be Green, our school’s behaviour system – including the rewards for good behaviour, the sanctions for poor behaviour, and how we track it.
We are holding a behaviour workshop on Friday 3rd July 2015 at 2:45pm, in the Key Stage One (Infant) building. When you arrive, please come to the infant office to sign in.
See you there!
It was lovely to see some of our parents at our British Heart Foundation Coffee Morning, which co-incided with our Parent’s Forum today.
Mrs Kelly and Mrs Kabir hosted The Coffee Morning alongside in bid to raise awareness about heart health.
We had a visit from Yasmin, a Health Trainer with the NHS, and she talked to our guests about healthy lifestyle choices. Everyone enjoyed a cup of tea and a fruit kebab provided by our lovely Kitchen team.
We also held a raffle for a voucher which was donated to us by the Silver Salon, and raised £20 which will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.
Thank you to everyone who made it a lovely morning!
If you would like to know more about healthy lifestyles, Yasmin will be holding an open morning in our Parent’s Portakabin next Friday morning from 9am – feel free to come along and enjoy a brew with us!
Calling all Parents and Carers!
You are invited to our Parent’s Forum, which will be held this Friday 26th April at 9.10am in the Parent’s Portakabin (on the KS1 Playground).
Why not come along and meet our Headteacher, Mrs Earl, and have a chat.
Refreshments will be provided.
Hope to see you there!
